How to use MedaCrew
A 90-second tour of the desktop app, from the first start to the finished file. The seven steps below say the same in words.

Install and sign in
Download the installer for your system and open it. The first start asks you to sign in with your MedaCrew account — once; after that the app keeps working offline for two weeks between check-ins. The trial starts here: 10 days, every feature, no card.

Choose your model
Pick where the AI runs. Ollama and LM Studio run on your own machine and need no key. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter and Groq run with your own API key, which stays on your machine. You can change this any time under Settings → Models.

Open a project
A project is a folder: your documents, a code repository, or both. Add a database connection if the agent should answer from your data. Everything the agent reads stays exactly where it is.

Ask, and watch it work
Type what you need in plain language, in English or German. The agent shows its plan and works through it step by step. Reading is free; writing files, running commands or changing a database stops and asks you first — with the reason.

Get the finished file
The result is a real file — .docx, .xlsx or .pdf — generated on your machine and saved to your disk, next to the project. Every turn can be rewound, file changes included.

Pick a role for every desk
Twenty-six roles ship with the app, from finance and HR to code review. Each is a saved agent with its own instructions, tools and limits. Choose one from the picker, or write your own.

Your team, and the brake
Team chat with your colleagues and your bots, todos and a calendar — in the app, on the web and on the phone. The Local-Only lock blocks every request that would leave your network, and the audit trail keeps every run.
